The Easter event formed part of our company objectives and philosophy: more cohesion, more integration, more enjoyment, more opportunity -making NPS Engineering a better place to work.
NPS Engineering Group recently brought a bit of Easter cheer to the team with a fun, inclusive staff event held right in the heart of the working day. Taking place after the morning break, the gathering invited all employees to join where possible, ensuring everyone could participate without major disruption to their schedules.
To kick things off on a tasty note, every staff member was offered a free breakfast sandwich – a perfect way to fuel up for the morning ahead.
The main event was a lively team quiz, with colleagues divided into groups of 4 or 5. Andrew Smith opened proceedings with a warm welcome and a clear update on the company’s current position. He shared insights into market trends, the ongoing strategy for the year, and the long-term vision across all group companies, before outlining what everyone could look forward to in the session.
Stepping up as quiz master was Rachel Laycock, who volunteered for the role and delivered an impressive set of 24 brain-teasing questions. The rounds covered a great mix: company trivia, history, sport, and general knowledge.
Table 6 emerged victorious with an excellent 19 out of 24 correct answers. Congratulations to Cameron Cassells, Nick Baker, Nick Parker and Ryan Leigh, who each walked away with a £20 Amazon voucher as their well-deserved prize.
As the quiz wrapped up, the management team handed out Easter eggs to every staff member that rounded off the festivities perfectly. Andrew Smith then closed the event, and teams returned to work.
